How?Invitations to an interview will be based on the content of your UCAS application and your performance in all three sections of BMAT. BMAT cut-off scores are calculated each year, as a result of ranked candidate BMAT scores versus number of expected interview sessions. As a result, the absolute BMAT cut-off changes each year. For 2018 entry, the minimum scores required were: - a score of 4.1 in section 1 - a score of 4.2 in section 2 - a score of 2.5 and grade C in section 3n/a

Entry Requirements

GCSE Subjects RequiredGrade B (Grade 6) in English Language. If candidates don't have this, GCSE English must be resat (and made clear on the application).If Chemistry or Biology are not offered at AS/A-Level, they must be offered at GCSE with Grade A or 7.
A-Level Subjects RequiredChemistry, Biology and any third subject (excluding vocational subjects, General Studies and Critical Thinking).Candidates must have Chemistry and/or Biology at A or AS level. General Studies/Critical Thinking are not considered. For Biology, Chemistry and Physics, a pass is required in the practical element. If only one of Biology/Chemistry is offered at A or AS level, the other should be offered at GCSE with an A grade or 7.
A-Level Grades RequiredAAA - please note that a standard offer is likely to be A*AA. A* in Chemistry or Biology; A in the remaining subject from Chemistry or Biology; A in a third subject.AAA.
