UKCAT (UCAT)

Used
How?At King's, GCSE scores, predicted A-Level grades, the personal statement and the reference contribute to the shortlisting of candidates, but examination performance and the UKCAT score are perhaps the most important. KCL does not have a threshold UKCAT score in any particular year, and UKCAT is only one of the factors considered in selecting candidates for interview. Scores for the last five years have varied between 630 and 735.At Newcastle, applications fulfilling the academic thresholds will then be assessed on their UKCAT scores. The UKCAT threshold may vary depending upon the competition to each programme. The threshold is based on the total UKCAT score. This threshold may differ in each admission cycle, as it is dependent on the scores achieved by applicants in the current cycle.
