GCSE Subjects RequiredIf Chemistry or Biology are not offered at AS/A-Level, they must be offered at GCSE with Grade A or 7.5 subjects at grade A (7) with a minimum of grade B (6) in Maths, English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Dual science accepted.
A-Level Subjects RequiredCandidates must have Chemistry and/or Biology at A or AS level. General Studies/Critical Thinking are not considered. For Biology, Chemistry and Physics, a pass is required in the practical element. If only one of Biology/Chemistry is offered at A or AS level, the other should be offered at GCSE with an A grade or 7.Biology or Chemistry plus another designated science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths/Further Maths/Statistics) and a third academic subject. Any science A Level (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) completed in England from 2017 must include a pass in the practical endorsement.
