How?n/aInvitations to an interview will be based on the content of your UCAS application and your performance in all three sections of BMAT. BMAT cut-off scores are calculated each year, as a result of ranked candidate BMAT scores versus number of expected interview sessions. As a result, the absolute BMAT cut-off changes each year. For 2018 entry, the minimum scores required were: - a score of 4.1 in section 1 - a score of 4.2 in section 2 - a score of 2.5 and grade C in section 3

Entry Requirements

GCSE Subjects RequiredIn the case of applicants who do not have Biology at A-Level, they should have studied the subject to GCSE level and achieved at least a grade BGrade B (Grade 6) in English Language. If candidates don't have this, GCSE English must be resat (and made clear on the application).
A-Level Subjects RequiredChemistry, one from Maths or Biology and a third subject. In the case of applicants who do not have Biology at A-Level, they should have studied the subject to GCSE level and achieved at least a grade B.Chemistry, Biology and any third subject (excluding vocational subjects, General Studies and Critical Thinking).
A-Level Grades RequiredAABAAA - please note that a standard offer is likely to be A*AA. A* in Chemistry or Biology; A in the remaining subject from Chemistry or Biology; A in a third subject.

Usually, offers included a 7 in Biology or Chemistry at higher level.
