UKCAT (UCAT)

Used
How?Glasgow consider the UKCAT with all other aspects of your application. The range of scores they consider changes each year as the performance of each admissions cohort varies. The Situational Judgement section of the UKCAT test will not be taken into consideration for entry in 2017.n/a

BMAT

Used
How?n/aUsed alongside Personal Statement and grades. Admissions Tutors use the BMAT results in conjunction with the other elements of students' applications to decide which candidates will be invited to interview and to help with deciding who should be offered places on the course. Students who achieve higher BMAT results are more likely to be invited to interview but there isn't a 'pass' mark for the BMAT at Cambridge. As an indication, last year around 79% of candidates who scored an average of 5.0 or above in Sections 1 and 2 were interviews, and around 33% of those scoring below 5.0 were interviewed.
