How?The test must be taken prior to your application in the year of application. At Sheffield, in addition to academic entry requirements, candidates must have achieved a score of 2470/3600 or above in their UCAT to be given further consideration. The Situational Judgement component is considered for those invited to attend a Multiple Mini Interview (MMI).Glasgow consider the UKCAT with all other aspects of your application. The range of scores they consider changes each year as the performance of each admissions cohort varies. The Situational Judgement section of the UKCAT test will not be taken into consideration for entry in 2017.

GCSE Subjects RequiredYou should have at least five grade A (grade 7) GCSE subjects; GCSE passes at grade B (grade 6) or above in Mathematics, English and at least one science subject (which may be dual awards); The five A grades may include Mathematics, English or a science subject; Acceptable science GCSEs include: Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, Psychology, Sciences (dual awards).Grade B (Grade 6) in English Language.
A-Level Subjects RequiredChemistry or Biology and one other science (Maths, Physics, Biology/Human Biology or Psychology). The combination of Chemistry and Biology is acceptable. Critical Thinking and General Studies are not accepted. Further Mathematics for candidates who hold Mathematics A Level are not considered.Must include Chemistry and one of Maths, Physics or Biology. General Studies and Critical Thinking are not acceptable as third subjects. If Biology is not studied at A2 level, it must have been taken at AS level. Biology and Human Biology are NOT considered as separate subjects. Maths and Further Maths are NOT considered as separate subjects.
