How?The test must be taken prior to your application in the year of application. At Sheffield, in addition to academic entry requirements, candidates must have achieved a score of 2470/3600 or above in their UCAT to be given further consideration. The Situational Judgement component is considered for those invited to attend a Multiple Mini Interview (MMI).1. Verbal reasoning is used to select (the cut-off is the mean, which was 577 in 2015). Those scoring below the cut-off for VR will be rejected. 2. UKCAT total scores helps assign applicants into centiles. The lowest UKCAT score for an applicant with an undergraduate degree who was invited to selection centre was 2,800 for 2015 entry. 3. Academic achievements are also considered and scored (a PhD scores the most). Then, the total score dervied from points 1,2,3 is used to rank for interview.
