At least 6 grade B’s (or a mark of 6 if applicants have taken the new GCSEs) must be offered including the following: • English • Mathematics • Dual/Double Science, or Science and Additional Science, or Chemistry and Biology These are the minimum entry requirements for Leeds; applicants should be aware that admission is highly competitive and the majority of applicants will have qualifications well above this standard.
A-Level Subjects RequiredChemistry and one other from Biology, Mathematics or Physics. Does not have a preference for the third Advanced Level subject. Human Biology may replace Biology. General Studies, Critical Thinking and Global Perspectives & Research are not accepted. Only one of Mathematics or Further Mathematics will be considered for the 3 subjects required at Advanced Level.Chemistry required. General Studies & Critical Thinking are not considered. Certain combinations are not acceptable - for example, Chemistry with Biology and Human Biology or Chemistry with Maths and Further Maths.
