There is no specific cut off applied but obviously a high score is advantageous. Weighting is dependent on applicant type: school leavers - 40% UKCAT, 60% academic; graduates: 60% UKCAT, 40% academic.

GCSE Subjects Required5 subjects at grade A (7) with a minimum of grade B (6) in Maths, English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Dual science accepted.They require biology, at least to GCSE grade A. Chemistry, Mathematics and English at least to GCSE grade B.
A-Level Subjects RequiredBiology or Chemistry plus another designated science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths/Further Maths/Statistics) and a third academic subject. Any science A Level (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) completed in England from 2017 must include a pass in the practical endorsement.Chemistry and another science subject (Biology, Physics or Maths). Third subject can be anything apart from General Studies A-Level.
A-Level Grades RequiredAAAAAA.
Scottish Highers Subjects RequiredScottish Highers are required at grades AAAAB, including Chemistry or Biology plus a second science at grade A(7).AAAAB (minimum) at the same sitting of Highers, to include chemistry and another science subject (from biology, physics or mathematics). The other three Highers can be your own choice and this choice of subjects will not influence the assessment. We also require biology at least to grade A at National 5 and mathematics and English at least to grade B at National 5, if not studied at Higher. Achievement at Standard Grade/National 5 will also be taken into account.

Scottish Advanced Highers Subjects RequiredTwo Advanced Highers (Chemistry or Biology plus a second science) must also be achieved at minimum grades of AB.Offers will be conditional, based on three Advanced Highers/'crash' Highers taken in 6th year, at BBB grades. Candidates who have completed S6 and have not attained the 6th year entry requirements are unlikely to be considered.

IB Subjects Required35 points including three grade 6 passes at IB Higher Level and grades of 6, 6, 5 at Standard Level are required. Higher Level subjects should include Chemistry or Biology, plus one from Chemistry, Biology, Physics or Maths and a third rigorous subject. Any science not taken at the Higher Level must be offered at Standard Level grade 5 or GCSE grade B (or equivalent). Points awarded for the Extended Essay or Theory of Knowledge are not taken into account but these components must have been completed. English Language (Language A) at Grade 6 is acceptable in lieu of GCSE English Language. Please see English Language Requirements under General Requirements if you do not have either of these.Subjects at Higher Level should include Chemistry and another science. Plus 3 subjects at SL with average of grade 6.
