GCSE Subjects Required5 subjects at grade A (7) with a minimum of grade B (6) in Maths, English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Dual science accepted.We expect applicants to have obtained a substantial number of GCSE passes, at a high standard. At least 6 grade B’s (or a mark of 6 if applicants have taken the new GCSEs) must be offered including the following: • English • Mathematics • Dual/Double Science, or Science and Additional Science, or Chemistry and Biology These are the minimum entry requirements for Leeds; applicants should be aware that admission is highly competitive and the majority of applicants will have qualifications well above this standard.
A-Level Subjects RequiredBiology or Chemistry plus another designated science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths/Further Maths/Statistics) and a third academic subject. Any science A Level (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) completed in England from 2017 must include a pass in the practical endorsement.Chemistry required.
